| Beneath an Orange Sky 30" x 40", Oil and Mixed Media on Canvas Available The sun never says to the earth, ‘You owe me.’ Look what happens with a love like that. It lights up the whole sky. Hafiz This painting was inspired by one of my favorite quotes. When we allow our hearts to shine with love is when we are fully alive. I hope on today, of all days, you can enjoy love in all of its forms. Wishing you a beautiful Valentine's Day that lights up the whole sky. The paint is literally still drying on this one, but it will be on display at my show at Uptown's Dear Clark that opens this Thursday. Hope my Dallas friends can make it out.  |

Hi there - I think we have a couple of mutual friends - Ashley & Michelle. I just found your blog and love it. Quotes are my jam. ;) Why try to re-invent the wheel? when something has been so eloquently put, as an Artist I like to re-interpret that eloquence on the canvas.
